Sycamore Grove

Sycamore Grove is a thoughtfully planned project set to bring 75 new housing units near the heart of downtown Topeka, IN, in effort to address the increasing demand for quality housing in the community. This development is a major investment in Topeka’s future, creating a mix of housing options that support growing families, working professionals, and retirees. With a strategic, phased approach, this project ensures sustainable growth while maintaining the town’s strong sense of community.

Infrastructure work has been funded in part by a READI grant from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation through the Northeast Indiana Regional Development Authority.  The Town of Topeka has financially invested in the project as well.


Production Timeline

Site work for Sycamore Grove is to be completed this winter; paving work completed by early spring with home construction/sales to begin early Summer 2025. The development will offer a diverse mix of housing options, including:

Why Topeka, IN?

LaGrange County’s Housing Market Potential Analysis found that LaGrange County could support 325-475 new housing units over the next five years, strengthening neighborhoods for residents of all ages.

 

Within that, Topeka could support a minimum of 16-22 new housing units per year, including rental and detached homes. This project directly aligns with those findings, ensuring Topeka remains a great place to live and work.
