DeKalb County, Indiana
DeKalb County is a desirable place to live and work due to the amenities of the individual communities and the proximity to Fort Wayne. These amenities have led to housing development in the county, but community leaders wanted to be proactive to ensure they are meeting their market potential and addressing workforce housing needs. The DeKalb County Economic Development Partnership has taken a leadership role in this effort, partnering with the Housing Resource Hub to build a local housing system that is sustainable in addressing workforce needs.
